Washable White Paint

Discover washable white paint, your new durable essential!

White walls are the foundation of many homes, providing a neutral backdrop for furniture, artwork and other décor. They add a touch of freshness to the bedroom and bring a feeling of cleanliness to your kitchen. White walls look smart in your living room and brighten up your kitchen.
But on the other hand, they are not the easiest to keep clean, and they won’t do you any favours when it comes to hiding dirty marks. Whether it’s spillages, mucky fingerprints or scuff marks, white paint can be your own worst enemy when it comes to maintenance and longevity.
That’s where Dulux Easycare white paint comes in. It’s a washable white paint that repels liquid spills, making it easy to wash them away. It’s also 20 times more durable than normal Dulux matt emulsion, so you can wash spills, stains and fingerprints off the walls without the colour fading.

The benefits of washable white paint

White paint is a staple, so a washable version means you don’t have to make any sacrifices when it comes to style. If you have children, the benefits are countless. Crayon marks? Dirty fingerprints? Juice splatters? Fear not – with washable white paint, scuffs and stains can be easily washed off.
It’s also a blessing in the kitchen in places where you don’t have tiles or a splashback, and in the hallway where there is a lot of traffic.

How to keep white walls clean

Aside from choosing a whipeable and durable white paint, there are a few things you can do to keep your walls whiter for longer.
Firstly, keep your white walls dusted. Using a soft cloth to cover a broom or a bristle, gently dust your walls to remove a build up of dirt. This will allow your walls to dazzle more brightly, and will also prevent dirt from being smeared around when you clean your walls more thoroughly.
Once your walls are dusted, create a solution of warm water and a mild detergent, and use a sponge to gently wipe the surfaces. Leave for 5-10 minutes, and then use clean water and a clean sponge to rinse your walls. Avoid using too much liquid, as this can cause water stains.
