Stacey Solomon to the rescue in brand-new TV show on Channel 4

In the new Channel 4 programme, 'Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescue’, Dulux Colour of the Year 2024 Ambassador Stacey Solomon takes the helm of home transformations, combining her DIY design passion with the mission of changing how it feels to come home.

From colour-blocking in a 1980s bungalow to a feature wall in a beach house and panelling in a 1970s semi, Stacey steps in to share her knowledge and passion for DIY with the people who have lost time and money to renovation nightmares and help them rebuild their homes without breaking the bank.

Check back here every week for a summary of each episode that has aired along with the details on the technique and colours.

Episode 1: Colour Blocking

In the first episode of Renovation Rescue, Stacey Solomon met a couple whose dreams of a modern Japandi-inspired home turned into a nightmare when an extension on their 1980s bungalow went horribly wrong. Stacey was on-hand to show them a simple but effective colour-blocking technique in their bedroom using Sumptuous Plum 3, Emerald Glade, Willow Tree and California Days.

Episode 2: Coastal Colours

Dreams were dashed when building inspectors condemned £127,000 of work on a home in Devon, meaning the devastated couple had to start from scratch. Fortunately, Stacey was there in the second episode of Renovation Rescue to show them how to save an incredible £10,000 by tackling jobs themselves including painting a feature wall inspired by their sea views using White Mist.

Episode 3: Cosy Contemporary

In the third episode of Renovation Rescue, a father-and daughter team were left in the lurch when their hopes for a fresh start following a bereavement came crashing down when building work on their home in Suffolk went badly wrong and left them seriously out of pocket. Good news, then, that Stacey was there to show them how to take matters into their own hands including creating a cosy aesthetic using White Mist, Rock Salt and Breton Blue.

Episode 4: Painting with pastels

In the fourth episode of Renovation Rescue, Stacey helps a couple in the Forest of Dean who have lost their confidence as a result of a disappointing setback in creating their dream kitchen-diner. Luckily, Stacey was on hand to give them a much-needed boost and show them how to create a pastel-coloured palette with Daffodil WhitePixie GreenWhite Cotton and Sorbet.

Episode 5: Paneling with Dulux Heritage

In the fifth episode of Renovation Rescue, Stacey helps a newlywed couple get their project back on track after a bad experience with their builders. Putting their £10,000 to clever use, Stacey shows them how to stetch their budget by taking jobs to task themselves, including installing and painting panelling in Dulux Heritage using Linnet White, Pale Nutmeg, Cornish Clay and Olive Tree.

Episode 6: Neutral Kitchen

With designs on hosting family dinners in a spacious kitchen-dinner, a couple in Bradford were left disappointed when they encountered no end of problems and found themselves cooking in a building site. Luckily, Stacey leapt to their aid in the sixth episode of Renovation Rescue by showing them how to do some of the heavy lifting themselves and create a neutral palette with Velvet Truffle 6.
