Bursting with vitality and freshness, green is the colour to go for if you're looking to energise your space. Synonymous with nature and life, it can't help but make you feel happy - but it also has soothing qualities too. This palette goes to show you can be as bold as grass when it comes to decorating with green.

Go wild with clashing prints and patterns, mixing up the scale and motifs on your fabrics for cushions, upholstery and curtains. Combine these with a textured plain (or two) to ground your scheme, picking out paint shades from your favourite fabrics (download our Visualizer app to make this even easier). As a final flourish, throw a contrasting accent colour in the mix to add an edge – the bolder the better.
