Correct order in which to paint your room

Now that we have finished preparing all the walls we can start to think about the order in which we paint the surfaces. First of all we start with the ceiling. This is so that any wet paint that may drop will only fall on an unpainted surface, which will be painted later.

Then we would paint the walls and then the window, followed by the window sill, then the radiators, then the skirting, followed by the doorframe then the door. This is so that we can start in the middle of the room and work our way out so we don't walk past wet paint.
