Surface preparation

To get the best results with Weathershield Stabilising Primer, make sure surfaces to be sealed are sound, clean and dry.
Before surface preparation, read the information below about old lead paints.

How to use

Shake container vigorously before use. When the surface has been fully prepared, any areas that remain powdery and dusty should be sealed with a coat of Weathershield Stabilising Primer. When fully dry, apply 2 coats of the selected Weathershield Masonry Paint. Please note:
Do not seal sound, new or bare surfaces.

Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting: seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
Flammable.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Contains ethyl methyl ketoxime . May produce an allergic reaction.
Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Contains white spirit. Use only in well ventilated areas.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When applying it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvent, thinners or white spirit. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use or store by hanging on a hook. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste paint. Avoid release to the environment. Before use refer to safety data sheet. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
