Quick Dry Satinwood

A quick-drying water-based satin finish for interior wood and metal that is drip resistant and does not require an undercoat.

Usage guide

Surface preparation

Ensure surfaces to be painted are sound (i.e. not flaking and are sanded down), clean and dry. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Before surface preparation, read the information in the Safety, Health and Environmental information section about old lead based paints.
For wood, treat any knots with knotting solution. Apply Dulux Wood Primer to bare surfaces.
Prime bare metal with Dulux Metal Primer.
Radiators must be turned off and only painted when cold.
Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate Polycell Polyfilla product.

How to use

Stir thoroughly before use with a palette knife or similar implement.
Apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Quick Dry Satin as required, using a suitable clean brush. Where a strong colour change is involved, 2 coats will be required.
Touch dry in only 2 hours. Where a second coat is required, allow a minimum of 6 hours between coats. Newly painted doors and windows should not be closed (tightly) until the paint is fully dry.
Precautions:
Do not use outside when there is a likelihood of rain, fog or frost.
