Light and Space Quick Dry Satinwood

Dulux Light & Space Paint uses revolutionary LumiTec technology that helps to reflect up to twice as much light around the room when used with Dulux Light & Space Rich Matt for walls and ceilings.

Surface preparation

Ensure surfaces to be painted are sound (i.e. not flaking and are sanded down), clean and dry.
Before surface preparation, read the information in the Safety, Health And Environmental Information section about old lead paints.
For wood, treat any knots with knotting solution. Apply Dulux Wood Primer to bare surfaces. Prime bare metal with Dulux Metal Primer.
Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate Polycell Polyfilla product.

How to use

Apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Light & Space Paint for Wood and Metal. Where a strong colour change is involved, 2 or more coats may be required.
Do not spread the paint too far. Where a second coat is required, allow a minimum of 6 hours between coats. Newly painted doors and windows should not be closed (tightly) until the paint is fully dry.

Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When painting it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser.
Do not use solvent, thinners or white spirit.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use or store by hanging on a hook. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste paint.

Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
