Difficult Surface Primer
A quick drying formulation which is convenient to use and provides excellent adhesion on difficult surfaces both inside and outside.

Surface preparation
Ensure surfaces to be painted are sound (i.e. not flaking and are sanded down), clean and dry.
Before surface preparation, read the information in the Safety, Health and Environmental Information section about old lead based paints.
For old gloss paint on wood, treat any knots with knotting solution.
Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate Polycell Polyfilla product.
How to use
Stir thoroughly with a palette knife or similar implement before use.
Apply 1 coat of Dulux Difficult Surface Primer using a brush or short pile roller. When fully dry, minimum 4 hours, apply an appropriate Dulux paint system.
Health and safety
WATER-BASED PAINT PRODUCT
Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When painting it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvent, thinners or white spirit.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste paint. Safety data sheet available for professional user on request.
Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
