Heritage

Traditional period colours in a modern paint.

The Heritage range is a collection of 120 period colours from defining eras that have helped shaped British history.  Originally created from un durable pigments and materials these shades are now available in modern day finishes, allowing you to create historically accurate schemes, or simply colours that you love that will complement your home.

Available through Dulux Colour Mixing these colours are available in a wide variety of finishes but we would recommend using Dulux Flat Matt for walls and ceilings and Dulux Eggshell for wood and metal, to create a truly authentic look.

The palettes

Georgian (1714-1837)

The Georgian palette contained both subtle and stronger shades but overall looked understated and elegant.

Victorian (1837-1901)

The Victorian palette has richness and depth. Luxury typifies this period, where everything was very ornate and intensely decorated.

Edwardian & Art Deco (1901-1939)

Edwardian walls tended to feature muted but lighter colours derived from nature such as yellows, greens and blues.

Classic whites

Whatever the collection of colours in vogue at the time, there was always the need for a range of whites.
