Why do I have to put the Dulux PaintPod Emulsion pack into it in a special way?

Answer

The pack has an integrated "dip tube wipe". It is essential that the dip tube is placed through this opening so that it is automatically wiped clean as your remove the dip tube from the unit.

If the tube is not cleaned on removal it will coat the gears which are located in the lid of the unit and affect the performance of the unit.
